This is an update on Becky's progress by her Mum as she can't access the internet at Everest Base Camp (5400m) at the moment. She phoned Wed. night to say all was well and she is really enjoying her time at BC, especially as she knows many of the team. She was getting up at 4.30am to go onto the icefall. She has a bit of a cold but is feeling fine. Weather, so far, is better than last year - sunny days and not so cold at night, enough for her to 'ditch' the hot water bottle!! Her guide, Rob, is arriving soon and she is looking forward to making her way up to the top of the world. Keep sending your messages and support.
