I have received word that BARBARA HILLARY HAS REACHED THE SOUTH POLE!!

Barbara was able to reach a mutual friend with her satellite phone just
after reaching the Pole yesterday. They had a successful landing and
delivered supplies to the Amundsen-Scott Station. They are currently on
their way back to Punta Arenas.
