#15: Comienza segunda etapa proyecto Rockwell Kent

Hola a todos,
Muchas gracias por los mensajes de apoyo!
Mañana daremos inicio a la segunda etapa de nuestro proyecto, luego de haber completado con éxito la primera etapa, con una travesía en solitario de 10 días cruzando a pie la Península Brecknock (Tierra del Fuego) de Seno Almirantazgo a Bahia Yendegaia, para registrar los sitios retratados por Rockwell Kent hace un siglo.
Esta vez volaremos en avioneta a Pampa Guanaco y seguiremos por tierra hasta Caleta Maria, para iniciar una navegación en el lado oriental del Seno Almirantazgo y el Interior de Fiordo Parry, en busca de los encuadres exactos desde donde el explorador y artista neoyorkino realizó sus registros en fotos, dibujos y óleos hace un siglo (1922-1923), navegando en su pequeño velero "Kathleen", que él mismo construyó en Punta Arenas.
Este estudio comparativo tiene por objetivo realizar un aporte al conocimiento de la historia humana y ecológica de Tierra del Fuego desde la obra de este artista, difundiendo entre los chilenos su trabajo artístico y exploratorio.
Junto a esta navegación y trabajo fotógrafico, aprovecharemos el viaje para realizar una exploración hacia el interior de algunos valles más desconocidos del Seno Almirantazgo.
