Durante la notte arriviamo sulle coste di Brabant Isaland, per avvicinarci la mattina seguente a Chiriguano Bay.
Mi sveglio verso le 5:30 e scopro che siamo circondati da iceberg, nevica, il freddo è palpabile, e tutto intorno il nulla… perché? nessuna spiegazione sarebbe abbastanza, l’unica cosa a cui ho pensato è che non avrei voluto essere in nessun’altro luogo. Sembra tutto surreale! Sono stato in tanti posti di montagna, dall’estrema Russia alle zone Himalayane, da Capo Nord al Sud America…ma nulla è incontaminato e selvaggio come l’Antartico.
durante la mattinata facciamo due run in una zona di cui non conosciamo il nome e nel pomeriggio scaliamo il M.Victoria aiutati dalle tante ore di luce…. e domani, bè domani è un altro giorno…
