So the plan did change! I took an extra two days in Pangboche as we had a few days spare, so I decided to spend them lower rather than higher.
So today I trekked just a couple of hours to the next village called Dingboche. Tomorrow to Chukkung and then the following day an acclimatisation hike up a small peak called Chukkung Ri at 5550m. After that there will be just one more night in Lobuche then arriving in basecamp about the 15th.
The last few days have been a lot of resting but there has been lots of interesting people coming out of the lodges, both friends and people I have read about.
We've had some stunning views although it has been largely cloudy and has snowed every day which is unusual for this time of year, but is not posing any problems at the moment.
