It was our last day in the BBQ belt and we made the most of it! Will &
Heather took us to Oklahoma Joe's, a BBQ joint in the back of a modern gas
station on the Kansas side of the state line. The pulled pork sandwich
blows away Interstate's and would challenge NC's finest. The ribs served
"wet" are great, but the blue ribbon remains with Memphis' Rendezvous dry
rubbed ribs. After all this eating, it is high time for some hiking! Today
we head north and then west through South Dakota. We hope to make enough
progress to be able to spend tomorrow at the Badlands, it is about a 9-10
hour drive. The Lewis & Clark museum was well worth the hour spent there.
There is a great video helped build an even greater sense of adventure for
the terrain ahead.

A great quote along the road so far...
